The Kenpo Creed is a code of ethics authored by Senior Grandmaster Ed Parker. All Dragon's Den students must memorize this creed, from the beginner "tiger" to the ultimate stage of becoming a "dragon," which is what we all strive to become in karate, as well as in life.
This will be the student's first step in their thousand-mile journey. Remember, this is not a 50-yard dash, it is more of a marathon. It takes time, patience, practice, dedication, and a commitment from students and their parents, as well as from the instructors at the Dragon's Den. The staff will help and encourage all students who choose this path.
"I come to you with only karate, empty hands. I have no weapons, but should I be forced to defend myself, my principles or my honor, should it be a matter of life or death, right or wrong; then here are my weapons, KARATE, MY EMPTY HANDS."
